Polycap is a pill developed by cadila pharmaceuticals for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. The pill is consumed worldwide. The pill is a combination of Atenolol, Hydrochlorothiazide, Ramipril, Simvastatin and Aspirin for primary prevention of cardiovascular events and stroke.
Team Cadila Pharmaceuticals wanted to take their cardiovascular prevention pill across the globe and make it a well known brand among doctors and patients. They recognised the need to revamp their old website in order to give it a modern look and feel.
One of the major challenges with this project was strategizing an intuitive navigation structure that would effectively organize and incorporate all the details about the product. Pharmaceutical brands are not loved by people and the key reason to this is the fact that these brands are not understood by people. They are not understood, because they do not refer to archetype. While designing the prototype, our responsibility was to make it look more humane and easy to be understood by every visitor.
We worked hard to select color and typography that would suit the overall tonality of the brand . Trusted by medical practitioners, beautiful life, healthy heart are some words that gives a hope to heart patients, we used them. Many images of people were included to make the site feel human, caring, and sympathetic, in opposition to the cold, clinical feel of many pharmaceutical companies' website.
